School Business Manager Assistant – From September 2024

As our School Business Manager Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the School Business Manager in various administrative and financial tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Support:

  • Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Collaborating with the School Business Manager on financial reporting and analysis
  • Assisting in the procurement process and liaising with suppliers

Administrative Assistance:

  • Providing general administrative support to the School Business Manager
  • Assisting in human resources tasks, such as recruitment and on-boarding processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and managing calendars

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, we are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate in School Business Management or an equivalent qualification, or willingness to undertake one.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or financial role (experience in an educational setting is an advantage)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite
